What materials are used for your metal buildings?
Ironbuilt Steel Buildings are made of 100% U.S. steel.

Is it secure framing?
Ironbuilt steel buildings are connected together with screws and bolts. The connections stay secure because there is very little frame movement. Nails used in traditional non-metal building construction end up becoming loose due to warping and shrinkage of wood used for frames. Steel stays constant and sturdy throughout time so the connections remain in place.

How much will shipping be?
With the weight and destination of the shipment, freight costs will vary. To save you money we use the packing strategy called share-loading to ship as much as possible in one full freight load.

Will the buildings be pre-painted?
Yes! The walls and trim are painted utilizing a long-lasting applied paint from the factory that is made by the leading manufacturer of protective coatings for steel, Akzo Nobel.

What paint colors can I pick for my building?
You can review our swatches of steel building colors here. Our paints are backed by a 40 year warranty.

Are there options for insulation?
There are lots of different types of insulation that we offer with a variety of R-values for you to choose from. Our steel building technicians can help you decide which insulation is best suited for your new steel building.

Can I decide to put doors and windows on my steel building?
Absolutely! Our steel buildings can be customized with incorporate doors, windows, ceiling lights and many more various options. Your steel building sales representative will gladly help you design the right steel building for you.

How long does delivery take?
Delivery times vary because we design all buildings individually for each customer. Your sales rep will give you an accurate delivery time after your requirements are reviewed and understood.

Will my new steel building meet local building codes as well as wind/snow load requirements?
Every steel building engineered from Ironbuilt is designed and built with regional building codes, wind and snow load requirements. We will also provide drawings stamped and certified by one of our registered engineers.

Who will erect my building?
Lots of our customers are able to erect the buildings themselves with our easy to follow erection drawings and manual we provide with all of our shipped steel buildings. If you would rather have a professional contractor or erector who have built our steel buildings we would be happy to put you in touch with them.
